Our cares & management team aim to enable every client to remain as independent as possible within their own home safely, comfortably & with dignity.

Home Care

Hope Care Support located in both Stevenage and Northampton was founded on the basic idea that you shouldn’t have to go to a care home if there is not a need to. You should be able to keep the life you know and love, all while getting the care you need. With Hope Care Support, the person you love gets full-time, one-on-one care and support. We match your loved one with a passionate, experienced and vetted care professional based on their specific needs and personality. We pride ourselves in the quality of the delivery of care services we provide to our clients.

Medication Management

Most of the time, a close family member end up being the primary caregivers to their aging family member. This might be a noble and loving gesture but, these family members also need to find time for their own life too. What will happen if that family member has an emergency and can’t look after you and also can’t find any replacement? Do you not take your medication? In that case, our professionals are always available to you when to take your medications.

They are able to do your laundry and ironing at your home as well as any other work where you may need help with.

Accompany to health appointment

Hope Care Support carers will book your appointment with doctors and then they will accompany you to your health care appointment with doctors too.

They will also remember things like when you have to consult with your doctor or your appointment schedule.

Domestic Cleaning

A neat and clean house always feels welcoming and blissful to live in, and our care workers can support you to make this happen. Our care professionals can do as many tasks as possible such as doing the dishes, vacuuming carpeted or wooden floor, cleaning wet areas like toilet or bathroom, kitchen and dusting.

Shopping

You may find it hard go to shopping, our services are always available to help you with your shopping too.

Our home care services aren’t just limited to the home. A carer can take you to the shops to help you do your shopping, or sometimes do your shopping for you.

Medication Collection

Our care workers may collect your medication from the Pharmacy. Understood it completely from the doctors, how and when to apply it, then collect it and keep maintaining your medication.

Meal Preparation

Maintaining proper dietary needs, and personal preference are something that all of our carers are trained in. They will be able to prepare delicious and nutritious meals that suit your own tastes as well as cleaning up afterward too.

Live-In Care

We provide a live-in care service to support with maintaining independence to enable you living at home within your community. We offer a highly realistic and affordable service as an alternative to the high cost of residential home. We match your loved one with an experienced, carefully vetted carer who moves into a spare room. They do everything required to make sure the person you love is safe, happy and comfortable in their own home.

Mobility / Assistance transfer

Mobility services are vital for elderly people for helping them to maintain independence. Various activities such as attending social events, family gatherings or meetups in the community, shopping, maintaining medical and dental check-ups, or physiotherapy appointments are important for them.

Our Carers can help you to transfer securely with the adequate moving aids, including lifting (requires two people), getting in and out of bed, shower, toilet, or moving from a chair to bed or your wheelchair.

Incontinence and toileting assistance

Caring for a person with incontinence is not always easy. Many family members find it way more difficult to care for a person with incontinence. But with the right advice and support from caring and health professionals may make it more manageable for you.

Our care professionals can support you to move on and off to the toilet and taking care of any incontinence needs. Such as assistance with urinals, bedpans and/or commodes, providing bowel and bladder incontinence care.

Dressing / undressing assistance

In a time of dressing and undressing, instead of you, our carer will do the bending and fastening of buttons, zips, and shoelaces, and make sure you are not in any kind of danger of falling.

The carer will also have all your clothes ready for you when you get out of shower or bath. While getting into bed, carer will also assist you to undress your clothes.

Bathing / showering

Bathing or showering is the most personal thing that a person does. Many of us are able to bath ourselves and care for other personal matters by our own. But for the aging, bathing and other personal care needs seem to be tougher due to their age, sickness or loss of mobility.

Our care professionals assure you that your loved ones receive proper hygiene maintenance and help avoid falling from slippery floors and transfer in out of the tub or shower.

Respite Care

Everybody needs some time for themselves, even more so when they care for someone else. This is where respite care can be integral to you and your carer’s routine. Whether it is covering a holiday period, a short break, or needed urgently because of sickness or a family emergency, Hope Care Support is here when you need us to offer one to one care from skilled professionals trained by our specialised team.

End Of Life Care

End of life care is support for people who are in the last months or years of their life. End of life care should help you to live as well as possible until you die and to die with dignity. Hope Care Support is able to support your end of life care at home which is much more affordable than at care homes. We will also be able to support your family, carers or other people who are important to you. You have the right to express your wishes about where you would like to receive care. You can receive end of life care at home, instead of care homes, hospices or hospitals, depending on your needs and preference. Hope Care Support aim to offer high quality care to those approaching the end of life. We aim to assist with the provision of the relief of pain and other distressing symptoms. We aim to use a Person-centred approach to address the needs of our service users. We aim to help our service users live as actively and as independently as possible.
